3 Buck Chuck & a Clearance Wine Haul

Here's to going out of town and getting to visit a Trader Joe's!
Yes, I only wanted to go there and get wine.
At Trader's you can purchase some good wine for $2.99 a bottle,
so I got a case for $35.88.

But it gets better
At Target a stroll down the wine aisle, got me this bargain. $9.99 wine that was on clearance for $2.69 and since I bought 6 plus bottles I saved an extra 10% and since I used my target red card I saved 5% on my total purchase. So I got 8 bottle of wine for about $2.08 each.

So for $52.52 we ended up with 20 bottles of wine and returned with 14 of them. We had help drinking the wine, I swear!

So at $2.62 a bottle, We are in Wino Heaven!

Peach on Earth

We had our Office Christmas Party the other day and decided on a three ingredient no-fail recipe! It always delivers and rarely leaves leftovers. Peach-BBQ Lil' Smokies 2-14 oz package of Lil' Smokies cocktail sausages 1-16 oz jar of Peach Preserves 1-16 oz bottle of BBQ sauce Put all ingredients into a crockpot, stir and cook on high for 2 hours or low for 4 hours.  Serves 12-15, I would double for larger crowds.

Doritos Pumpkin cheese ball

1 Block cream cheese ½ C salsa (pace salsa works best) 2-3 C crushed nacho doritos Bell pepper stem Small round bowl Press and seal wrap Non-stick spray Mix with an electric mixer the cream cheese and salsa. I mix it well and until it is quite creamy/fluffy. Place a piece of press and seal over a small bowl and spray with nonstick spray. Put in cream cheese and salsa mixture and wrap up. Let chill overnight or at least 2 hours. When ready to serve unwrap ball and roll in crushed doritos and top with a bell pepper stem. I like to serve it with blue tortilla chips for Halloween, this is also great for Thanksgiving.
