Happy New Year 2015

New Years Day, you have to eat your blackeyed peas right?

So the pic on the right is from last year, this year....well let me tell ya...

The peas ended up burned, veggie broth used to revive them was rancid, and a trip to walmart ended with being stranded in the parking lot...

When we finally got home, frozen pizza was heated and we ate our peas out of the can standing over the kitchen sink!
Then we washed them down with a bottle of champagne and watched the matrix.

Happy New Year 2015, see pic on left!
