Brownie Mug-FAIL!!!

We've all seen those brownies in a mug on pinterest,
but has anyone actually tried one.
Well I had a dessert
hankering and decided to give one a whirl.

Result=I am less than impressed!
It didn't taste that great, and was hot as hell
coming out of that microwave.

But it did resemble a brownie! So that's a plus.

Try one for yourself

In a large mug or small microwave safe bowl
Add 4 Tbsp each flour and sugar. Add 2 Tbsp
each vegetable oil, cocoa powder, and water or milk.
Add a dash of salt and 1/4 tsp vanilla extract.
Stir well. Then add in any additional ingredients like
shredded coconut or chocolate chips.
Microwave 90 seconds. Use a potholder to remove bowl
from microwave!!

Peach on Earth

We had our Office Christmas Party the other day and decided on a three ingredient no-fail recipe! It always delivers and rarely leaves leftovers. Peach-BBQ Lil' Smokies 2-14 oz package of Lil' Smokies cocktail sausages 1-16 oz jar of Peach Preserves 1-16 oz bottle of BBQ sauce Put all ingredients into a crockpot, stir and cook on high for 2 hours or low for 4 hours.  Serves 12-15, I would double for larger crowds.

Doritos Pumpkin cheese ball

1 Block cream cheese ½ C salsa (pace salsa works best) 2-3 C crushed nacho doritos Bell pepper stem Small round bowl Press and seal wrap Non-stick spray Mix with an electric mixer the cream cheese and salsa. I mix it well and until it is quite creamy/fluffy. Place a piece of press and seal over a small bowl and spray with nonstick spray. Put in cream cheese and salsa mixture and wrap up. Let chill overnight or at least 2 hours. When ready to serve unwrap ball and roll in crushed doritos and top with a bell pepper stem. I like to serve it with blue tortilla chips for Halloween, this is also great for Thanksgiving.
