Malibu Barbie Fizz

It's Pink, It's Bubbly, It's Made for the Beach,
It's also Soooo Delicious!

1 Shot Malibu or other Coconut Flavored Rum
1 can Oceanspray Sparkling Cranberry Lemonade
or any other sparkling lemonade.

Fill glass with ice, add malibu, lemonade and stir.

It's hard to see the pink against a black background, but it was definitely a pink drink.

Oh Kale, when did you become so hipster? But it is pretty darn tasty too. So for dinner we had a nice kale salad 1 C kale, chopped 1 C Spinach, chopped 1/2-1 C Cole slaw blend with carrots 1 can of drained and rinsed white kidney beans 2 Roma tomatoes, chopped 1/2 purple onion, chopped lemon pepper to taste sunflower seeds toss with your favorite dressing So simple and yet satisfying, we completed the meal with a nice piece of buttered bread. YUM!

Peach on Earth

We had our Office Christmas Party the other day and decided on a three ingredient no-fail recipe! It always delivers and rarely leaves leftovers. Peach-BBQ Lil' Smokies 2-14 oz package of Lil' Smokies cocktail sausages 1-16 oz jar of Peach Preserves 1-16 oz bottle of BBQ sauce Put all ingredients into a crockpot, stir and cook on high for 2 hours or low for 4 hours.  Serves 12-15, I would double for larger crowds.
